The AHRQ has released the report on the comparative effectiveness of insulin analogues in premixed formulations for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes. Insulin analogues in premixed formulations were compared with long-acting insulin analogues, rapid-acting insulin analogues, basal-bolus regimens, intermediate-acting human insulin, premixed human insulin, and noninsulin antidiabetic agents.
