Does anyone know more about this:
1) Market share of Caraco digoxin in US
2) Any estimate of the # of patients affected by this.
Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories, Ltd. Announces a Nationwide Voluntary Recall of All Lots of Digoxin Tablets Due to Size Variability

Caraco digoxin market share information is not available in the public domain. However, this entire issue goes back to last year, when Actavis, a large manufacturer of Digitek, recalled their product (see: Digitek recall). At that time, there were 3 remaining generic manufacturers. Now that Caraco is recalling their generic digoxin tablets, there are only two maufacturers remaining, Lannett/Jerome Stevens and Westward. Upon inquiry, these manufacturers stated their digoxin tablets are available without restrictions, as of April 2, 2009.
