There are a couple of things you can consider:
First - check out our forum for weekly updates on first-time generic approvals (we publish every Thursday if there are relevant approvals) Second - FDA publishes a monthly list of first-time generics but keep in mind that they don't provide details on whether a product will be launched and if it's at-risk (also there is usually a lag of 1-3 weeks) Lastly - you can check Drugs@FDA for their reports on approvals (click on Drug Approvals by Month and then select Original Abbreviated New Drug Approvals (ANDAs) by Month). It's only a day or so behind but the problem is that this site doesn't specifically say if it's a first-time generic. |
