- Carl T. Bertram PharmD, Principal at Integrity Healthcare, LLC. Before becoming Manager, then Director of Clinical Services, and then Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy and Strategy – Medical Health Solutions, Dr. Bertram practiced in the community pharmacy setting as a technician, student, intern and pharmacist for Walgreens for 10 years focusing his professional responsibilities on advocating, demonstrating and documenting the importance of the provision of pharmaceutical care. This was facilitated through assisting in revising dispensing workflow processes in the pharmacy and improving documentation of clinical prescription information.
Dr. Bertram has also coordinated, presented and published pharmacy continuing education programs, and over 20 research abstracts for organizations such as AMCP, Pinsonault, ACCP, WF Professionals and ISPOR on topics such as Medicare, MTM, Walgreens Clinical Department, prior Authorization programs, retail 90 programs, hypertension, antibiotic resistance, appropriate use of proton pump inhibitors, drug interactions, HIV/AIDS, pharmacoeconomics, and oncology.
Dr. Bertram received a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1990 from the University of South Carolina and subsequently completed a post-baccalaureate PharmD. degree in 1992 with a focus in Internal Medicine.
