- Biography:
- Sherry L. Andes, B.S. Pharm., Pharm.D., PAHM, BCPS, BCPP is Director, Drug Information Services for informedRx®, an SXC Health Solutions Company. Dr. Andes has previously worked for two large national managed care organizations as well as two global pharmaceutical companies. In her various roles, Dr. Andes has been responsible for the provision of drug information including drug monograph development, therapeutic class reviews, and drug product FAQs; monitoring of the pharmaceutical pipeline; Formulary and P&T Committee management; key opinion leader relationships; and drug information resource management. Dr. Andes has over 10 years of managed care experience, 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, and 2 years of retail pharmacy management experience.
Dr. Andes received both her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. She is board certified by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and a Psychiatric Pharmacist (BCPP) and she holds certificates in Drug Information from the Council of Ohio Colleges of Pharmacy and in Medical Communications from the Drug Information Association (DIA). Dr. Andes has also received the Professional, Academy for Healthcare Management (PAHM) designation from the Academy for Healthcare Management. She holds current, active pharmacist licenses in the states of Arizona, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Dr. Andes is an active member of the following organizations: AMCP, ASHP, ACCP, CPNP, DIA, and SCIP.
