Default Hospital Admissions for Soft Tissue Infections Increasing in US

From 2000 to 2004, total hospital admissions for skin and soft tissue infections (SSTIs) in the US rose by 29%, according to a report in the August 12th issue of Emerging Infectious Diseases. By contrast, little change was seen in admission rates for pneumonia.
